Minnesota to bid for CFP title game

Gov. Mark Dayton announced Minneapolis' bid for the 2020 title game Tuesday, to be held in the new Vikings Stadium that opens in 2016. The bid will require an $8M-$12M fundraising effort, and Dayton is "very optimistic" they can make a competitive bid.

Packers decline Nick Perry option

The Packers didn't pick up the fifth-year option for $7.75M on the OLB, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. Perry will be a free agent next spring. Green Bay drafted Perry 28th overall in 2012.
