Baltimore is obviously one of the best defenses in the league, but they were just 11th in the league in sacks. The only Top 5 defense not to have at least 40 sacks. Even with Terrell Suggs hurting the team needs to sack Ben Roethlisberger at least 3 times where they increase their chances to 43 percent, up from just 18 percent when they sack Ben 1 time or less. Do not look for any RB to have a good game. Despite his success last week against San Diego, Willie Parker, who has only averaged over 4 ypc once in the past 4 years against Baltimore is forecasted for 55 yards on 19 carries (just 2.8 ypc). Leron McClain had success good games against Pittsburgh this season, but he is only averaging 2.7 ypc. The big question will be can rookie Joe Flacco minimize turnovers and produce big downfield passing plays? There is a 37.8 percent chance that Flacco has no interceptions and Baltimore increases their chances to 46 percent when throws no picks. If he also throws at least 1 touchdown pass, like he did against Tennessee, the Ravens win 54 percent of the simulations with an average score of BAL 20, PIT 18. If Flacco has one or more interceptions and is sacked at least 3 times the Ravens have just a 22 percent chance of winning the game.
