No penalty on field, but Reese hit for $25,000
The fine resulted from an incident in an Oct. 12 game against the New York Jets, a contest in which the NFL contends Reese intentionally bumped one of the field officials.
No penalty was called on the play. The incident occurred on a run by the Jets and Reese said that he was simply attempting to move the official, who was in his path, as he moved forward toward the line of scrimmage.
"The ref usually moves to the side and, in this case, he didn't move," Reese said. "I kind of put my hands on his lower back and tried to guide him to the side, and he fell over. For that, I got fined $25,000.
"I'll definitely appeal it as long as I can."
Moulds, the Bills' leading receiver, has been limited in practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game.
Moulds has missed the last two games with a slight tear in his groin, which he hurt in a win over Cincinnati on Oct. 5.
"I want to play, but at the same time I've got to be smart because it's still a long season," Moulds said.
Buffalo is 4-3; Kansas City is 7-0.
