ST. LOUIS -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller sprained his left knee late in the first half of Sunday night's game against the St. Louis Rams, and the team said he would not return.

Boller was 10-for-21 for 112 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He was replaced by Chris Redman with the Ravens trailing 21-19.

It was unclear when Boller was injured. The rookie first-round pick has started all nine games for the Ravens.

Boller handed the Rams a touchdown in the second quarter when a blitzing Adam Archuleta stripped him of the ball and returned it 45 yards to put the Rams ahead 21-12.
