Fiedler does not practice Wednesday

DAVIE, Fla. -- Despite seven turnovers in the past two games, Brian Griese will make his fourth consecutive start for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Jay Fiedler missed practice Wednesday, still lacking mobility because of a sprained ligament in his left knee, and coach Dave Wannstedt named Griese the starter against Baltimore.

"I'm a little bit disappointed, and Jay is, too," Wannstedt
said. "We both expected him to be ready to go at this point. He is
making progress and he is better. If we were going to drop back and
throw it 60 times, Jay could play."

Fiedler injured his knee against New England on Oct. 19 and has
practiced sparingly since.

Griese threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns in his Dolphins
debut against San Diego but struggled in the next two games --
losses to Indianapolis and Tennessee.

He fumbled twice and was sacked five times against the Colts. He
threw three interceptions, fumbled twice and was sacked four times
against the Titans.

"The fumbles are a thing that's frustrating," Wannstedt said.
"We can't have that. That doesn't give you much of a chance."
