Shultz was assistant for Bengals last year

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings named Kurtis
Shultz as their new strength and conditioning coach on Tuesday.

Shultz, an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the
Cincinnati Bengals last season, runs a personal training and
bodybuilding business in the Baltimore area.

He has served as a
personal trainer for All-Pro Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis in
addition to four seasons as strength and conditioning coach for the
University of Maryland men's basketball team.

Shultz replaces Steve Wetzel, who left to join Dennis Green's
staff with the Arizona Cardinals after 12 seasons with the Vikings.
