Herniated disc keeps DT sidelined
MIAMI -- Defensive tackle Tim Bowens of the Dolphins will miss Sunday's game against New England with a herniated disc in his back.
Bowens, who has not played all season, was downgraded Saturday from doubtful to out in the Dolphins' injury report. Jeff Zgonina will start in his place.
The Dolphins (0-4) are also without their other starting defensive tackle, Larry Chester, who suffered a season-ending knee injury Sept. 19.
