Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Donovan McNabb connected with Brian Westbrook on a 34-yard TD pass to put the Eagles up 27-6 with just under 10 minutes left in the game. The win clinched the NFC East for Philly. Westbrook. Carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards and one TD and caught five passes for 53 yards and one TD. Westbrook has four TDs in the last two games.

ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: I believe this will be the Eagles' year because this team is clearly the class of the NFC unlike in years past when they've won the NFC East. They are clearly playing better on defense as the season progresses and are looking much better in the secondary as young cornerbacks Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown mature.

UP NEXT: Eagles (10-1) vs. Packers (6-4) | Giants (5-6) at Redskins (3-8)

Bengals 58, Browns 48

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Deltha O'Neal returned a Kelly Holcomb INT for a TD with under two minutes left to put the Bengals up by 10 points. Rudi Johnson. Was the star on offense on a day full of them. Rushed for 202 yards and two TDs on 26 carries (7.8 yards per carry).
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This game was unbelievable and it is extremely difficult to explain the offensive success of either team because there is no way these two teams should've been able to put up that amount of points.

UP NEXT: Browns (3-8) vs. Patriots (10-1) | Bengals (5-6) at Ravens (7-4)

Chargers 34, Chiefs 31

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Trent Green's pass on fourth-and-4 fell incomplete with just under two minutes left. The Chargers took over and ran out the clock. Drew Brees. Completed 28 of 37 passes for 378 yards and two TDs (both to TE Antonio Gates).
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Antonio Gates is a classic match up problem for defenses because of his size and athletic ability. He's a huge target in the end zone for QB Drew Brees. There isn't a linebacker in the league who can cover him and teams can't put a safety or cornerback on him because of the potential for penalties.

UP NEXT: Chargers (8-3) vs. Broncos (7-4) | Chiefs (3-8) at Raiders (4-7)

Vikings 27, Jaguars 16

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Kenechi Udeze stripped the ball from Byron Leftwich and Kevin Williams picked it up and returned it 77 yards for a TD to put the Vikings up by 11 points with just under two minutes left. Randy Moss. He had only four catches for 40 yards, but one of the four was a highlight-film TD that put the Vikings up 20-13.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: It's a necessity for opposing teams to double team Randy Moss in the red zone and in obvious passing situations even when he's not 100 percent. In the red zone where his speed is negated, he's still just as dangerous because of his leaping ability and capacity for finding open spots in a defense.

UP NEXT: Vikings (7-4) at Bears (4-7) | Jaguars (6-5) vs. Steelers (10-1)

Steelers 16, Redskins 7

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Patrick Ramsey was picked off by Deshea Townsend with just under five minutes left and the Steelers leading 16-7. Jerome Bettis. With Duce Staley scratched before the game, Bettis responded with his fourth straight 100-yard game (31 carries for 100 yards and one TD).
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: On paper it should be easy to just put eight or nine men in the box and stuff the Steelers, but that's why QB Ben Roethlisberger is receiving so many kudos. His intelligent play and ability to make defenses pay when they resort to single coverage to stop the run is why he's so important.

UP NEXT: Steelers (10-1) at Jaguars (6-5) | Redskins (3-8) vs. Giants (5-6)

Panthers 21, Bucs 14

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jake Delhomme connected with Keary Colbert on a 40-yard TD pass with just 20 seconds left to put the Panthers up 21-14. Colbert. The rookie caught three passes for 72 yards with two of them good for touchdowns.

ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Panthers have put themselves in too deep of a hole to make the playoffs despite how weak the NFC is looking. They have to take pride and satisfaction in how hard they are playing. They are doing a tremendous job of being in each game each week.

UP NEXT: Bucs (4-7) vs. Falcons (9-2) | Panthers (4-7) at Saints (4-7)

Texans 31, Titans 21

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Domanick Davis scored on a 41-yard run with just 1:34 left in the game to put the Texans up 31-21. Davis. Carried the ball 16 times for 129 yards and one TD and also caught seven receptions for 52 yards.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Titans have several areas that need to be addressed. Defensively they suffered a tremendous loss when DE Jevon Kearse left via free agency. He wasn't just a great player, but also a great leader for this defense.

UP NEXT: Titans (4-7) at Colts (8-3) | Texans (5-6) at Jets (8-3)

Falcons 24, Saints 21

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Aaron Brooks' pass on the last play of the game was picked off by Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall. Alge Crumpler. Caught four passes for 103 yards and the game-winning TD (a 20-yard pass from Michael Vick).
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Right now, you have to rate Alge Crumpler up there with the best in the business. He's playing on the same level as Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates and a healthy Todd Heap. He's big, athletic and has excellent hands just like those guys.

UP NEXT: Saints (4-7) vs. Panthers (4-7) | Falcons (9-2) at Bucs (4-7)

Dolphins 24, 49ers 17

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jason Taylor sacked Tim Rattay and caused a fumble that was returned one yard by Derrick Pope for a TD to put the Dolphins up 24-10 with just over three minutes left. Taylor. Recorded three sacks, and in addition to the fumble he caused, he also recovered one fumble during the game.

ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This win was primarily a win for the Dolphins' pride. It's important for the players to know that they can still compete and win games.

UP NEXT: Dolphins (2-9) vs. Bills (5-6) | 49ers (1-10) at Rams (5-5)

Bills 38, Seahawks 9

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Willis McGahee scored on a 30-yard run to put the Bills up 31-3 with just over 10 minutes left in the game. McGahee. Carried the ball 27 times for 111 yards and four TDs, raising his season total to seven scores.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This team hasn't been the same since its collapse against the St. Louis Rams. They look like a totally different football team. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what's wrong with the 'Hawks, but it seems to stem from the inconsistent quarterback play and the poor play of the wide receivers.

UP NEXT: Bills (5-6) at Dolphins (2-9) | Seahawks (6-5) vs. Cowboys (4-7)

Jets 13, Cardinals 3

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Josh McCown's pass was picked off by David Barrett with just under two minutes left and the Jets leading 13-3. Santana Moss. Caught five passes for 109 yards, including a 69-yard TD pass that put the Jets up by 10. It was just Moss' second 100-yard game this season.

ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Jets defense is the most impressive aspect of their two consecutive road wins. In the offseason the organization decided to go younger and faster and that decision has been a good one. The Jets' corps of linebackers leads the team and that group allows them to consistently make plays against the run and intimidate receivers going across the middle.

UP NEXT: Jets (8-3) vs. Texans (5-6) | Cardinals (4-7) at Lions (4-7)

Patriots 24, Ravens 3

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jarvis Green recovered a Kyle Boller fumble in the end zone for a TD to put the Patriots up 24-3 in the fourth quarter. Corey Dillon. Was the workhorse again on offense for the Patriots, carrying the ball 30 times for 123 yards and one TD.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This was a game of pride for the Patriots defense because they knew one of the best defenses in football was coming into town. The Ravens came into this game with all the defensive stars and the press behind them and had to watch the Patriots defense dominate their offense. The Patriots relied on their linebackers and that group responded.

UP NEXT: Ravens (7-4) vs. Bengals (5-6) | Patriots (10-1) at Browns (3-8)

Raiders 25, Broncos 24

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jason Elam's 43-yard field goal attempt was blocked by Langston Walker with 17 seconds remaining. Jerry Porter. Porter had just one touchdown catch going into the game, but caught three while being primarily covered by Champ Bailey. His third score came with 1:55 left.

UP NEXT: Raiders (4-7) vs. Chiefs (3-8) | Broncos (7-4) at Chargers (8-3)

Colts 41, Lions 9

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Peyton Manning hit Marvin Harrison for a 10-yard TD on the Colts first possession of the second half, putting Indy up 34-9. Manning. He's not going to break Dan Marino's TD record (48), he's going to obliterate it. Manning tossed six more TDs Thursday, bringing his season total to 41 with five games left.

UP NEXT: Colts (8-3) vs. Titans | Lions (4-7) vs. Cardinals

Cowboys 21, Bears 7

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
