UP NEXT: Giants (5-9) at Bengals (6-8) | Steelers (13-1) vs. Ravens (8-6)

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
When Jay Feeley's 38-yard FG sailed through the uprights in OT. The winning kick was set up by an Aaron Beasley interception. Michael Vick. Completed only 11 of 28 passes for 158 yards, but made the play of the game, rushing for a 12-yard TD on fourth-and-goal with under two minutes left to tie the score.
UP NEXT: Panthers (6-8) at Bucs (5-9) | Falcons (11-3) at Saints (6-8)

Texans 24, Bears 5

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Domanick Davis scored on an 11-yard TD run to put the Texans up 17-5 with under 4:30 left in the game. Davis. Carried the load on offense for the Texans, rushing for 95 yards and one TD on 25 carries.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: There's no doubt that it's time for the Bears to check out Jeff George. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't get his opportunity to play today. This is a great chance for the Bears start some competition for next season's backup to Rex Grossman.

UP NEXT: Texans (6-8) at Jaguars (8-6) | Bears (5-9) at Lions (5-9)

Bills 33, Bengals 17

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Takeo Spikes recovered a Rudi Johnson fumble with a little less than four minutes left in the third quarter and the Bills leading 27-10. Lee Evans. The rookie from Wisconsin continued his hot play with five catches for 101 yards and one TD.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Marvin Lewis made the right decision giving Palmer the keys to this offense. He's big, strong, steady in the pocket and has a big arm. All he needed was experience and Lewis was smart enough to give him that experience this season.

UP NEXT: Bills (8-6) at 49ers (2-12) | Bengals (6-8) vs. Giants (5-9)

Chargers 21, Browns 0

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
The Chargers took the opening drive of the second half and marched 43 yards for a TD to go up 21-0. LaDainian Tomlinson. Playing in the snow in Cleveland, Tomlinson carried the load for the Chargers, rushing for 111 yards and two TDs.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: There's no bigger surprise in all of football (than the Chargers). This team was forecast to be a very bad team that would be lucky to get five or six wins.

UP NEXT: Chargers (11-3) at Colts (11-3) | Browns (3-11) at Dolphins (2-12)

Vikings 28, Lions 27

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
When holder Nick Harris couldn't handle a bad snap from Don Muhlbach on what would have been the game-tying extra point with just eight seconds left. Daunte Culpepper. Completed 25 of 35 passes for 404 yards and 3 TDs in the Vikings' win. It was Culpepper's second 400-yard game of the season.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Vikings just barely escaped that game with a win. The Lions had gotten the momentum shift and it looked like they were going to pull off the upset victory. But the snapper made a bad play and it cost the Lions a chance at winning the game.

UP NEXT: Vikings (8-6) vs. Packers (8-6) | Lions (5-9) vs. Bears (5-9)

Jets 37, Seahawks 14

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Eric Barton recovered a fumble by Matt Hasselbeck deep in Seattle territory with just over 11 minutes left and the Jets leading 30-14. The Jets scored a TD five plays later. Chad Pennington. Curtis Martin had a big day, but the nod goes to Pennington, who responded to a bad game last week with 253 passing yards and three TDs.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Seahawks have good personnel, but they are deficient in key areas. For some reasons this team keeps dropping passes and making mistakes in the fourth quarter of games.

UP NEXT: Seahawks (7-7) vs. Cardinals (5-9) | Jets (10-4) vs. Patriots (12-1)

Eagles 12, Cowboys 7

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Lito Sheppard picked off a Vinny Testaverde pass with just over 1:30 left in the game. The Eagles were able to run out the clock. Donovan McNabb. He wasn't great (two INTs), but he came up big on the winning drive, rushing for 38 yards and completing two big passes.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Terrell Owens' injury is the worst thing that could happen to the Eagles. This is a huge loss because he's driven the Eagles offense all season. The Eagles need their defense to amp up its play to keep opposing teams honest and to protect the offense.

UP NEXT: Cowboys (5-9) vs. Redskins (5-9) | Eagles (13-1) at Rams (6-8)

Chiefs 45, Broncos 17

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Trent Green hit Samie Parker on a 48-yard TD pass to put the Chiefs up 35-10 with just over eight minutes left in the third quarter. Larry Johnson. Continued his strong play, rushing for 151 yards and two TDs on 30 carries.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Broncos are a proud organization that hasn't really contended for a Super Bowl since John Elway retired. This organization isn't used to not making the playoffs and I can't see the fans there being happy about that fact.

UP NEXT: Broncos (8-6) at Titans (4-10) | Chiefs (6-8) vs. Raiders

Saints 21, Bucs 17

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Brian Griese was sacked on the final play of the game with the Bucs on their own 49-yard line. Aaron Brooks. Tossed two fourth-quarter TDs as the Saints came back from a 17-7 deficit to win.
UP NEXT: Saints (6-8) vs. Falcons (11-3) | Bucs (5-9) vs. Panthers (6-8)

Cardinals 31, Rams 7

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Josh McCown scored on a nine-yard run to put the Cardinals up 31-7 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. McCown. Threw two TD passes and also ran for two more in the Cardinals' win.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This team (the Rams) has reached the end of its rope and needs a shakeup. They had a great run reaching two Super Bowls and playing at a high level for a number of years, but those days are over. They have to change their offensive philosophy and some of their personnel on defense.

UP NEXT: Rams (6-8) vs. Eagles (13-1) | Cardinals (5-9) at Seahawks (7-7)

Jaguars 28, Packers 25

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Nick Sorensen recovered Green Bay's attempted onside kick with just about one minute left. The Jags ran out the clock. Fred Taylor. Rushed for 165 yards and one TD on 22 carries in the Jaguars' win.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The past five or six years the Jaguars have been able to consistently count on Fred Taylor and WR Jimmy Smith to get the job done. They should maintain their offensive balance and keep allowing Taylor to make opposing teams respect the running game.

UP NEXT: Packers (8-6) at Vikings (8-6) | Jaguars (8-6) vs. Texans (6-8)

Raiders 40, Titans 35

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Billy Volek was sacked for a safety with under 10 seconds left in the game. Kerry Collins. Had by far his best game of the season, throwing for 372 yards and five TDs.

ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: With Steve McNair talking about possible retirement, this team and its fan base has to feel about backup quarterback Billy Volek. He may not be as good a quarterback as McNair, but he can put points on the board and seems to have a great understanding of the offense.

UP NEXT: Titans (4-10) vs. Broncos (8-6) | Raiders (5-9) at Chiefs (6-8)

Colts 20, Ravens 10

Recap | Boxscore

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Linebacker Cato June intercepted Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller and returned the pick 71 yards with about one minute left in the game. Dwight Freeney. Peyton Manning inched closer to Dan Marino's single-season mark of 48 touchdown passes, but Freeney harassed the Ravens all night. The league's sack leader got two against Baltimore and constantly pressured Boller.

UP NEXT: Colts (11-3) vs. Chargers (11-3) | Ravens (8-6) at Steelers (13-1)
