Buyers are interested in the Vikings.
Despite reports by various Minnesota media outlets, the team said, however, that the sale is not imminent.
Team president Gary Woods told the St. Paul Pioneer press that potential buyers have expressed interest, but no one has moved beyond the exploratory phase.
Among those looking at the team is Arizona businessman Reggie Fowler.
"We continue to talk to Reggie and his people, and a lot of other people," Woods told the paper. "But there's nothing to report."
Woods told the paper he didn't know if Fowler was putting a bid together.
