Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher said his quarterback is doing better than last week, when he missed a week of practice and still played.
"Wednesday is hump day for him. Monday and Tuesday he was a little sore. His ankle is still a little sore, but we held him out and we will get him back out there tomorrow,'' Fisher said.
McNair started last week and ran for 18 yards on third down to set up the Titans' winning field goal in a 13-10 victory over Houston. Fisher said McNair was not 100 percent in that game because of his sore ankle.
"But he's better than last week,'' he said.
The Titans also listed running back Travis Henry as questionable with a sprained right ankle even though Fisher said Monday that Henry might miss Sunday's game with Seattle. Henry was one of seven Titans who missed at least part of practice.
But tight end Erron Kinney, who had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee a week ago, ran a little bit Wednesday. He said keeping the swelling down is his biggest concern, and the Titans' top pass catcher was listed as questionable.
Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth bruised his right knee in practice and watched the conclusion with ice wrapped around his knee.
