Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher and San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Nolan were named coaches of the 2006 Senior Bowl.

Fisher and his Titans coaching staff will coach the Senior Bowl's North team, while Nolan and his 49ers staff will handle coaching duties for the South squad in the Jan. 28, 2006, contest in Mobile, Ala.

"I think coaching in the Senior Bowl is a great opportunity and a blessing for the entire San Francisco 49ers organization," Nolan said. "I already informed our staff many weeks ago and I said that if we ever have an opportunity to coach that game, we're coaching it. That's the best way to evaluate players that I've come to know."

In addition to the coaching staffs, the teams will also bring team's training, video and equipment staffs.

"I have been involved with the Senior Bowl as a coach at Philadelphia and it is a great experience," Fisher said. "To get hands on work with these players is invaluable and we look forward to getting to Mobile later this month."

The 57th annual Senior Bowl will kickoff at 3:00 p.m on ESPN.
