SAN DIEGO -- Chargers return specialist Darren Sproles has a broken left leg and is expected to be out for several weeks.

Sproles broke his fibula in Saturday night's exhibition win against the Green Bay Packers.

With Sproles out, the Chargers might have backup running back Michael Turner return kickoffs and either Eric Parker or Keenan McCardell return punts, coach Marty Schottenheimer said Monday.
