Redskins WRs Moss, Patten inactive vs. Cowboys

LANDOVER, Md. -- Washington wide receiver Santana Moss
missed the Redskins' game Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys with a
left hamstring injury.

David Patten, one of Washington's backups at wideout, also was
inactive with a left hamstring injury.

That left the Redskins with three wide receivers: Brandon Lloyd,
Antwaan Randle El (who takes Moss' spot in the starting lineup) and
James Thrash. The three had combined for fewer yards receiving
this season (372) than Moss, who leads the Redskins with 28 catches
for 435 yards.

With starting cornerbacks Shawn Springs and Carlos Rogers both
available for the first time this season, Washington put defensive
back Mike Rumph on the inactive list.
