New York Jets: Backup offensive lineman Wade Smith re-signed with the New York Jets for one year, agent Brian Parker said Saturday.

The versatile unrestricted free agent spent most of last season with the Jets, where he was reunited with offensive line coach Tony Wise, who coached him in Miami. The Dolphins selected Smith in the third round of the 2003 draft and released him last year.
