Tubbs has another surgery on right knee, to miss minicamp
Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Marcus Tubbs, a former No. 1 draft choice, recently underwent arthroscopic surgery to clean up his chronically-injured right knee.
The procedure is expected to keep him out of this weekend's minicamp, but it does give the team some hope he may be ready by the regular season.
Tubbs missed all of last season because of complications with his right knee, on which he underwent microfracture surgery. He has missed 32 games over the past three years because of injuries.
With continuing questions about Tubbs' health, the Seahawks signed veteran defensive tackle Larry Tripplett on Wednesday. They also signed linebacker Wesly Mallard.
