Bears rookie reaches agreement on four-year deal
As the Bears assembled for the first day of minicamp Friday, they came to terms on a four-year contract with tight end Kellen Davis.
Signing bonus numbers were not available for Davis, a fifth-round pick out of Michigan State. The 6-foot-6, 262-pound Davis had his best season at Michigan State as a senior, when he caught 28 passes for 475 yards and five touchdowns. Davis is the first of the Bears' draft choices to reach agreement on a contract. The Miami Dolphins have a league-high five draft choices under contract.
