Portis sits out practice with back spasm, but should play; Jansen likely out
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis missed practice Friday with a muscle spasm in his back and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Coach Jim Zorn said he expects Portis to play.
"He's working out the kinks," Zorn said. "It would have to be pretty severe for him to stay out."
Right tackle Jon Jansen missed practice again and is expected to sit out his second straight game with a sprained knee.
Otherwise, the Redskins are as healthy as they've been in weeks. The entire defense is expected to be available Sunday, including linebacker Marcus Washington, who has missed four games with a severely sprained ankle.
