EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Miami linebacker Channing Crowder was active for the Dolphins' game Sunday against the New York Jets after being listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Crowder, limited in practice time this week, said Friday he was confident he would play for Miami, which would win the AFC East with a victory. Crowder sat out last Sunday's 38-31 win at Kansas City.

Cornerback Will Allen, who hurt his groin against the Chiefs and was limited in practice, was also active for Miami.

Inactive for Miami were linebackers William Kershaw and Quentin Moss, defensive ends Lionel Dotson and Rodrique Wright, wide receiver Ernest Wilford, guard Shawn Murphy and tackle Nate Garner. John Beck was the No. 3 quarterback.

For the Jets, kicker Mike Nugent, wide receiver David Clowney, safety J.R. Reed, tight end Bubba Franks, linebacker Cody Spencer and cornerbacks David Barrett and Drew Coleman were inactive. Brett Ratliff was the emergency quarterback.
