TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay's Ronde Barber and Davin Joseph were added to the NFC Pro Bowl squad on Tuesday, replacing Green Bay cornerback Charles Woodson and Dallas guard Leonard Davis.

Also, Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams was picked to go to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday.

Adams is going to his fifth Pro Bowl as a replacement for Walter Jones of Seattle. He joins Rayfield Wright as the only other tackle in Cowboys history to make the squad five or more times.

Adams has started for the Cowboys at left tackle since 1999 and has a current streak of 48 regular-season starts.

It's the fifth selection for Barber, who had four interceptions and extended his consecutive games streak to 176 this season. It will be the first trip to the annual All-Star Game for Joseph, the Buccaneers' first-round draft pick in 2006.

"Throughout my career I have been fortunate to be on some great teams and my selection to the Pro Bowl is further evidence of that," Barber said.

"It is heck of a honor and I am thrilled," Joseph said. "Being a player the ultimate goal is to win games, get to the playoffs and win a championship. And certainly a big goal of mine is to win a Super Bowl. But one of the things that I had hoped to accomplish through all my hard work and determination to win a championship was to make it to a Pro Bowl."

Barber, tied with John Lynch and Hardy Nickerson for the fourth-most selections to the Pro Bowl by a defensive player in club history, also made the trip to Hawaii following the 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasons.

The addition of Barber and Joseph gives Tampa Bay four representatives. They join linebacker injured Derrick Brooks, an 11-time selection, and rookie kick returner Clifton Smith.

Seahawks linebacker Julian Peterson is going to the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement for Brooks.

The Seahawks said Tuesday that Peterson had gone from alternate to playing in the game next month. This will be his fifth Pro Bowl appearance and third in a row.

He will be the Seahawks' only representative in Hawaii. Left tackle Walter Jones was selected for the ninth time but will not play. Jones recently had microfracture surgery on his knee.

Peterson had five sacks and 83 tackles in 15 games this season. He had 9.5 sacks and 10 sacks in his first two years with the Seahawks, the highest totals of his nine-year career.

Peterson signed a $54 million, seven-year contract with $18.5 million guaranteed with Seattle before the 2006 season. He spent his first six seasons with San Francisco.
