Bills replace UFA Greer with Florence
According to a source, it is a two-year contract worth $6.6 million. With incentives, the deal could grow to $7.3 million.
A year ago, Florence was considered one of the prize cornerbacks of free agency. He left the Chargers to sign a six-year, $36.1 million deal with the Jaguars, but his experience in Jacksonville was not a good one.
Florence started only eight games and finished the season as a backup. The Jaguars released him last month, but he found plenty of suitors for his services, including the Chargers.
The addition of Florence likely means Greer will not return. After starting 23 games over the past two seasons, Greer has been looking at other teams in free agency after failing to reach a contract extension with the Bills.
