Two McNair sons file claims
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The two oldest sons of slain NFL quarterback Steve McNair have gone to court seeking their share of his estate.
Steven L. McNair Jr. and Steven O'Bryan McNair filed their separate claims Thursday in Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville.
McNair, who did not have a will, was shot to death July 4 by his mistress, Sahel Kazemi, at a Nashville apartment. She then killed herself.
Mechelle McNair, the player's widow, and the couple's two sons also have retained attorneys. So far there have been no disputes over how the $19.6 million estate should be divided.
McNair spent most of his career with the Tennessee Titans and last played for the Baltimore Ravens.
