LANDOVER, Md. -- Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis is on the active roster for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Portis had been listed as questionable and his status was considered a game-time decision for the second week in a row. He is nursing a bruised calf and has been hindered by bone spurs in both ankles.
Backup running back Anthony Alridge was among the players who were inactive for Washington, along with defensive linemen Renaldo Wynn and Anthony Montgomery.
Running back Derrick Ward was inactive for Tampa Bay with a knee injury after gaining only 2 yards on five rushes last week.
Center Jeff Faine (triceps) missed his third consecutive game for Tampa Bay.
