Green Bay Packers executive John Schneider remains a candidate for the Seahawks' general manager opening, despite reports he has been eliminated from the running, sources told ESPN.com's John Clayton.

The Seahawks interviewed former Titans GM Floyd Reese on Wednesday; Schneider and Omar Khan of the Steelers interviewed Tuesday.

According to the source, the plan is to have two finalists fly to Seattle to meet with owner Paul Allen, but a decision on who those two finalists will be has not yet been made.
