The Oakland Raiders, still in limbo in terms of a head coach, have hired a new defensive line coach.
Mike Waufle, who has worked as an assistant with the New York Giants since 2004, was hired by the Raiders, according to a league source.
Waufle knows what he's stepping into -- he coached with the Raiders from 1998-2003. From 1992-97, he coached at the University of California.
Dwaine Board coached the Raiders' defensive line last season.
The fate of head coach Tom Cable is still undetermined. Raiders owner Al Davis and Cable have been scheduled to meet for more than two weeks, but no decision has been made about Cable's future.
