Ex-Steeler Foote to visit Pittsburgh
Detroit Lions free agent linebacker Larry Foote, who met with the Arizona Cardinals this week, is scheduled to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, according to a league source.
Foote spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Steelers, racking up 432 tackles and 14½ sacks in 110 games.
Foote had 99 tackles for the Lions in the 2009 season.

VIKINGS AGREE TO RE-SIGN DT KENNEDY
The Minnesota Vikings reached agreement to re-sign its defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy to a two-year deal with a maximum value of $6 million, according to a source.
Kennedy had 18 tackles and three sacks for Minnesota in 2009.

REDSKINS RE-SIGN OL MONTGOMERY
Offensive lineman Will Montgomery has re-signed with the Washington Redskins.
Montgomery, a restricted free agent, started three games at right guard last season as the Redskins frequently shuffled their lineup due to injuries.
The 27-year-old lineman has played in 29 career games with nine starts over four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets and Redskins. He first signed with Washington in December 2008.
