ST. LOUIS -- Washington Redskins punter Josh Bidwell injured his leg during warmups and his replacement, kicker Graham Gano, had his first attempt blocked by the St. Louis Rams.
Dominique Curry blocked Gano's punt to give the Rams possession at the Washington 26 in the first quarter Sunday. Sam Bradford threw an interception on the next play to give the ball back.
A team spokesman said they didn't know the extent of Bidwell's injury. Bidwell was in uniform.
Gano had never punted in the NFL although he punted at Florida State.
