INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have signed punter Jeremy Kapinos to replace the suspended Pat McAfee.

Kapinos punted 66 times last season for Green Bay and averaged 43.8 yards per attempt.

McAfee was arrested last week for public intoxication and drew a team-imposed one-game suspension that will keep him out of Monday night's home game against Houston.

Police say McAfee was found early Oct. 20 with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent, nearly twice the legal limit for driving in Indiana.

The Colts also said Tuesday that they have signed defensive back Chip Vaughn, a second-year player from Wake Forest. He spent last season with New Orleans, but didn't play.
