NEW ORLEANS -- St. Louis starting cornerback Ronald Bartell has been scratched from the Rams game against New Orleans on Sunday because of a neck injury that kept him out of practice the past week.

Saints running back Pierre Thomas, who's missed nine games with a sprained left ankle, is active as expected after he practiced fully all week for the first time since Week 3.

With Thomas back, the Saints have scratched running back Julius Jones, who's been nursing a sore left ankle. Also among inactive Saints are cornerback Patrick Robinson, safety Usama Young and linebacker Kawika Mitchell.

St. Louis scratches include cornerback Justin King, running back Kenneth Darby, fullback Mike Karney and safety Michael Lewis.
