TAMPA, Fla. -- Shelton Quarles, the coordinator of pro scouting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been arrested on a DUI charge.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office jail records show the 39-year-old Quarles was arrested at about 2:30 a.m. ET Friday on a ramp to Interstate 275.
Records indicate he refused to submit to testing and was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, where bail was set at $500.
Quarles was a linebacker for the Buccaneers from 1997 to 2006.
Jail records did not list an attorney for Quarles.
