IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Brian Williams returned a Joey Harrington interception 40 yards for a touchdown to put the Vikings up 24-7. Williams. Vikings cornerback had three interceptions and one touchdown. Corey Chavous also returned an INT for a TD.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Lions made this game closer than it should've been. The Vikings haven't looked impressive in a long time and have to defeat a tough opponent before anyone believes they're more than just paper tigers.
UP NEXT: Vikings (7-4) at Rams (8-3) | Lions (3-8) vs. Packers (6-5)

Jets 13, Jaguars 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Chad Pennington connected with Santana Moss on a four-yard touchdown pass with under 30 seconds left in the game. Pennington. Completed 25 of 39 passes for 236 yards and led New York on the game-winning drive.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Jets were able to win with a fourth quarter drive that's becoming a staple for QB Chad Pennington. His play is proving the Jets may have had an opportunity to make the playoffs if he'd have been healthy at the start of the season.
UP NEXT: Jets (4-7) vs. Titans (9-2) | Jaguars (2-9) vs. Bucs (4-6)

Eagles 33, Saints 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Aaron Brook's pass on fourth-and-1 from the Philly 29 fell incomplete with just over one minute left in the game. The Eagles took over and ran out the clock. Eagles ground attack. With Brian Westbrook, Duce Staley and Donovan McNabb all rushing for over 50 yards, the Eagles put up 201 yards on the ground.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Despite a great day by Saints RB Deuce McAllister (184 rushing yards), the Eagles found a way to win. For the Eagles to give up that many yards on the ground and still win decisively says a lot about their team effort.
UP NEXT: Eagles (8-3) at Panthers (8-3) | Saints (5-6) at Redskins

Ravens 44, Seahawks 41
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Matt Stover's 42-yard field goal sailed through the uprights in OT. Stover sent the game to OT with a 40-yarder as time expired. Anthony Wright. Just a week after passing for just 112 yards in a loss to the Dolphins, Wright threw for 319 and four TDs against the Seahawks.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: A week after scoring six points, the Ravens come out and put up 44 points on a good defensive unit. The Seahawks are having serious problems on the road and they have to rectify them soon before their playoff run is cut short.
UP NEXT: Browns (4-7) at Seahawks (7-4) | Ravens (6-5) vs. 49ers (5-6)

Patriots 23, Texans 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Adam Vinatieri's 28-yard field goal sailed through the uprights in overtime. Vinatieri had a 37-yard field goal attempt blocked earlier in OT. Kevin Faulk. Had a huge all-around game for the Patriots, rushing for 80 yards on 23 carries and catching eight passes for 108 yards.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Texans played a great game and gave the Patriots all they could handle. But the Patriots did what was expected of them and pulled off the victory. That's the mark of a good football team.
UP NEXT: Patriots (9-2) at Colts (9-2) | Texans (4-7) vs. Falcons (2-9)

Colts 17, Bills 14
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
David Thornton intercepted a Drew Bledsoe pass with just over 30 seconds left in the game. Edgerrin James. Rushed for 108 yards -- his second straight game over 100 -- and scored two TDs.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Bills recent play may have sealed the fate of their coaching staff. They seem to have a lack of confidence and it's showing in their lackluster play. Meanwhile Colts RB Edgerrin James seems to be 100 percent, which will only fuel this already explosive offense.
UP NEXT: Bills (4-7) at Giants (4-6) | Colts (9-2) vs. Patriots (9-2)

Steelers 13, Browns 6
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Chad Scott intercepted a Kelly Holcomb pass with 1:41 left in the game. Scott. Came up with the big INT and also made a huge tackle, stopping Dennis Northcutt short of the end zone on a fourth-and-one run in the third quarter.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: I guess someone had to win this game and it might as well have been the Steelers. The Steelers' coaching staff had to be pleased that Jerome Bettis was close to 100-yards rushing.
UP NEXT: Browns (4-7) at Seahawks (7-4) | Steelers (4-7) vs. Bengals (6-5)

Cowboys 24, Panthers 20
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Quincy Carter connected with Jason Witten on a 13-yard pass on third-and-10 with just over one minute left. The Cowboys then ran out the clock. Carter. After throwing seven INTs in his last four games, Carter responded, passing for 254 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys win.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: This was a big game for both teams and it came down to the play of the two quarterbacks. While Panthers QB Jake Delhomme struggled, Cowboys QB Quincy Carter made enough plays for the Cowboys to win.
UP NEXT: Cowboys (8-3) vs. Dolphins | Panthers (8-3) vs. Eagles (8-3)

Packers 20, 49ers 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Tim Rattay's pass was intercepted by Antuan Edwards with just over six minutes left. The 49ers never got the ball back. Ahman Green. With Brett Favre struggling with an injured thumb, Green carried the load, rushing for 154 yards on 27 carries.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Even though Favre had a poor passing day, he was able to connect when needed. Despite Favre's shaky play, the Packers are on the upswing as they ride towards the playoffs.
UP NEXT: Packers (6-5) at Lions (3-8) | 49ers (5-6) at Ravens (6-5)

Bears 19, Broncos 10
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Anthony Thomas rushed for 3 yards on third-and-one with under three minutes left in the game. That allowed the Bears to run most of the time off the clock. Kordell Stewart. Replaced an injured Chris Chandler in the quarter and led the Bears to the upset. Scored the winning TD on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: What a big surprise for the Broncos. With the return of QB Jake Plummer, the Broncos looked like they'd run over the Bears. But instead of playing good hard-nosed football they tried to get a little too fancy and got punched in the nose by the Bears.
UP NEXT: Bears (4-7) vs. Cardinals (3-8) | Broncos (6-5) at Raiders (3-8)

Bengals 34, Chargers 27

IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jon Kitna completed a nine-yard pass to Kelley Washington on third-and-five with two minutes left. The Bengals then ran out the clock. Chad Johnson. Continues to establish himself as one of the NFL's best WRs. Caught 10 passes for 107 yards and three TDs in the Bengals win.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: Cincinnati is playing great football and relying on QB Jon Kitna more than most would've thought. He's throwing with a lot of confidence and fueling the Bengals postseason push.
UP NEXT: Chargers (2-9) vs. Chiefs (10-1) | Bengals (6-5) at Steelers (4-7)

Rams 30, Cardinals 27
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Jeff Wilkins 49-yard field goal sailed through the uprights in overtime. Wilkins sent the game to OT with a late FG. Marshall Faulk. Ran for 100 yards and a touchdown, his second straight 100-yard game.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Rams win games because WRs Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce make plays. But there are some dings and dents in the Rams and they start with their defense and QB Marc Bulger's recent poor play.
UP NEXT: Rams (8-3) vs. Vikings (7-4) | Cardinals (3-8) at Bears (4-7)

Titans 38, Falcons 31
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Doug Johnson's pass on fourth-and-two from the Falcons 10-yard line fell incomplete with just over one minute left. Eddie George. Rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries. It was just his second 100-yard game of the year.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Titans lost their MVP and still went out and made the plays necessary to win this game. They played with heart and passion and were able to make up for the loss of McNair.
UP NEXT: Titans (9-2) at Jets (4-7) | Falcons (2-9) at Texans (4-7)

Chiefs 27, Raiders 24
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Morten Andersen barely cleared the crossbar from 35 yards out with just four seconds left. Priest Holmes. Rushed for 91 yards and one TD and caught six passes for 100 yards.
ERIC ALLEN'S ANALYSIS: The Raiders gave all they have against the Chiefs, but came up just short against a better football team. The Chiefs held on early and pulled the game out late.
UP NEXT: Chiefs (10-1) at Chargers (2-9) | Raiders (3-8) vs. Broncos (6-5)

Dolphins 24, Redskins 23
RECAP | BOX SCORE
IT WAS OVER WHEN... GAME BALL GOES TO...
Patrick Johnson fumbled Matt Turk's punt with two minutes left and James McKnight recovered it. Ricky Williams. Jay Fiedler might have provided the spark, but it was Williams who provided the points, scoring two second-half TDs.
UP NEXT: Dolphins (7-4) at Cowboys (8-3) | Redskins (4-7) vs. Saints (5-6)
