Player News (last updated: November 23, 2009)
News: Culpepper will likely start in place of Matthew Stafford (shoulder) against the Packers on Thursday, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Spin: The Lions haven't completely ruled Stafford out just yet, but he suffered a separated AC joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder, so he's doubtful with a good chance of missing multiple games with the injury.

Rebuilding of Lions is underway

Allen Park You'd love to see Matthew Stafford fling aside his shoulder wrap and trot onto the field to throw more touchdown passes Thursday.

Dan Kohn column: Point - Green Bay Packers may overlook Detroit Lions ...

WisInfo (10 hours ago)
Just like three weeks ago, the Packers appear vulnerable. Going into the game against Tampa Bay, the Packers were coming off a tough loss to Minnesota and had one eye looking ahead at the Dallas Cowboys.
