News: With Charlie Batch out with a broken wrist and Ben Roethlisberger also banged up, Garcia is a potential depth option at quarterback for the Steelers.
Spin: He's one of a handful of players the team could consider, but with the possibility that Dennis Dixon may be the team's only healthy QB haeding into the weekend, the Steelers are likely to make a move. Garcia's last stint in the NFL came in September, when he gave the Eagles some QB insurance while Donovan McNabb was injured.
