Player News (last updated: November 18, 2009)
News: Pennington (shoulder) wants to continue his NFL career, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Spin: Pennington is out for the rest of this season after undergoing surgery on his throwing shoulder once again. If all goes according to plan, Pennington can start to throw again in January, and work out for interested teams in March. Pennington would like to come back to Miami but the Dolphins seem to be happy with Chad Henne and it is unknown if Pennington would accept a backup role.
