Tuck says the week off helped his left shoulder heal, the Newark Star-Ledger reports. "It allowed me to do the strengthening work I needed to do, without having to practice and bang on it," Tuck said on a conference call with reporters Monday. "Gave it a lot of time to recover. It felt pretty good today; I'll probably do a little more work on it and have (Tuesday) off. I hope I'll be that much better coming up this week." (Nov 17)

| News: Tuck recorded four tackles (three solo) and a sack in Sunday's win over Atlanta. Spin: The sack was his first since Week 5. His stats have been a tad disappointing this year to say the least (32 tackles, 4.5 sacks), but hopefully he can muster up a strong finish to the season if he is no longer hampered by his shoulder injury. |
