News: Williams (knee) rushed for 122 yards on 13 carries and picked up a two-point conversion in Thursday's loss to Miami. Spin: The Panthers only handed the ball off 25 times, but Williams essentially shared the carries with Jonathan Stewart (12 carries, 43 yards). With extra rest, both backs should be able to rest their nagging injuries, perhaps returning the Carolina backfield to its regular 60-40 workload split favoring Williams in Week 12. |
