Jets' Ellis injures hand

SAN DIEGO -- Defensive end Shaun Ellis has left the New York Jets' playoff game against the San Diego Chargers with a hand injury.
Ellis apparently was hurt during the Chargers' first offensive series. He returned later in the game with his hand wrapped.
Ellis has been nursing a knee injury. He had 53 tackles and 6½ sacks this season. He had six tackles and one sack in the Jets' opening-round playoff win over Cincinnati.
