Titans' coaches and line play give them the edge

Scouts Inc. ranks each playoff team by position and it's no surprise that the Titans and Giants lead the pack.

Tennessee and New York are the top seeds in the AFC and NFC, respectively, so it's not surprising that they take the top two spots in Scouts Inc.'s overall rankings of all 12 playoff teams. The Titans landed atop the list thanks to ranking among the top four in seven categories; the Giants are first in three areas.

Scouts Inc. ranked all 12 teams in nine categories (wide receivers and tight ends combined to form an overall receiving category), with 1 being the best and 12 the worst. After tallying all the points, here are the overall results, with the lowest total score being the best:
