Edwards (knee) out against Eagles
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota defensive end Ray Edwards will miss Sunday's playoff game against Philadelphia with a knee injury, but the Vikings hope Pro Bowl defensive tackle Pat Williams will return after missing two games with a fractured shoulder.
Coach Brad Childress said he saw good progress from Williams all week in practice. He is listed as questionable and Childress said he will be a game-time decision.
Williams said he "feels good" and sees his ability to lift weights as a good sign. He isn't concerned about further injury.
"If you get hurt, you get hurt," he said.
