Cards sign replacement for Spach
TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed tight end Jerame Tuman to replace injured Stephen Spach.
The Cardinals placed Spach on injured reserve Tuesday because of a torn ligament in his right knee. The tight end had started both playoff games and was injured during the second half of Saturday night's 33-13 victory at Carolina. Tuman is a 10-year veteran who appeared in three games for the Cardinals before being released Dec. 24. The Cardinals have three tight ends on their roster. The other two, Leonard Pope and Ben Patrick, have been bothered by injuries.
