Source: Veteran Vickerson cut by Broncos To fill what was, perhaps, the tightest spot on the depth chart, the Denver Broncos released veteran defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson Saturday morning, a league source told ESPN.
Atlanta QB Michael Vick doesn't have much time to lick his wounds after a disappointing performance last week, as he travels to one of the toughest places for a visiting quarterback to play in. The fans at Invesco Field will be extremely loud, making it difficult for Vick to communicate with his offense.
However, Vick appears to play his best in big games and a win over Denver would give the Falcons excellent momentum heading into the second half of the season. In addition, the Broncos are coming off a disappointing loss on Monday night and QB Jake Plummer didn't play all that well. Will Vick rise to the occasion and give Denver its first home loss of the year or will the Broncos rebound in front of their fans?
