Browns-Jets Preview
| SCOUTING REPORT |
Browns have little margin for errorThe Jets are looking to play spoiler this week against the Browns, who are fighting for a wild card spot. The Jets' offense has a new leader in QB Kellen Clemens, who has brought some life to the struggling team. The Browns can't afford to lose any games that they should win, and this weekend against the Jets certainly falls into that category.
The Cleveland defense continues to be the weak link of the team -- specifically the run defense. Cleveland will have to play well on both sides of the ball against a Jets team that is slowly building some momentum going into the last part of the season. The pressure is on the Browns to win, so expect the Jets to come out aggressively and loose as if they have nothing to lose, which they don't. |

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Injured Jets receivers Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles were active for New York's game against Cleveland on Sunday.
Cotchery missed last week's game with an injured finger, while Coles was hobbled the past two weeks with a sprained ankle.
Cotchery was listed as doubtful on the team's injury report after he reportedly broke his right index finger in practice Nov. 26. Cotchery hasn't been seen in the locker room or on the practice field during media availability since.
Cotchery was limited in practice Friday after he didn't participate the previous two days. He leads the team with 54 catches for 730 yards and a touchdown.
Coles, who played last week against Miami despite a high left ankle sprain, was questionable Friday. He was noticeably hobbled in the locker room and at practice Wednesday after being able to play limited snaps against the Dolphins, but was able to walk better later in the week. The injury occurred early in the Jets' 19-16 overtime win against Pittsburgh on Nov. 18.
Inactive for the Jets were wide receiver Chris Davis, cornerback Andre Dyson, defensive linemen Kareem Brown and Mike DeVito, offensive linemen Jacob Bender and Adrian Jones, and tight end Jason Pociask. Marques Tuiasosopo was listed as the No. 3 quarterback.
Inactive for the Browns were defensive backs Kenny Wright and Richard Colclough, offensive linemen Isaac Sowells and Greg Eslinger, wide receiver Travis Wilson, linebacker David McMillan and defensive lineman Louis Leonard. Ken Dorsey was the No. 3 quarterback.
