SEATTLE (AP) -- The thrilling has seemingly gotten so routine for Josh Brown, he barely reacts to it now.But his Seahawks? They love it -- and Brown.
|Scouts Inc.'s take ...|
|The Rams brought pressure defensively that helped create turnovers and Seattle QB Seneca Wallace (right) accounted for two of them that allowed the Rams to stay in the game. Still, Wallace proved to be effective in the passing game and had two touchdowns on the day. As noted before, the Rams have to play near-perfect football and cannot afford turnovers. QB Marc Bulger threw his second interception on the year and the Rams lost by two points.|
Remember when the Seahawks' Josh Brown kicked a 54-yard field goal to turn an apparent defeat into a 30-28 win in the closing seconds of the game at St. Louis on Oct. 15? Well, four weeks later, he did it again.
Brown turned another deficit into a win -- again against the Rams -- with his 38-yard field goal with nine seconds left at Seattle on Sunday. It turned a 22-21 deficit into a 24-22 victory.
Now, the Elias part: Brown became the first player in NFL history to beat the same team twice in the same season with a trailing-to-leading field goal in the final minute of the game.• For more Elias Says, Click here
The Rams lost Pro Bowl LT Orlando Pace for the rest of the season because of a torn left triceps. ... Wallace, in his third NFL start while Matt Hasselbeck recovers from a sprained knee, was 15-of-23 for 161 yards and two first-half touchdowns, to Jackson and Jerramy Stevens. ... Bulger was 26-for-40 for 215 yards and an interception. ... Rams DB Travis Fisher injured his right forearm. He said he is due for a CAT scan on Monday.
