Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis, MO
It's been a while since two teams have started 0-8 in the same season, but the Dolphins and Rams ended that streak with losses Sunday.

Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson (ankle) and his backup Kris Griffin (Achilles tendon) both were knocked out in the first half, although coach Romeo Crennel was hopeful both would be back next week. ... Incognito is optimistic about an MRI scheduled for Monday, and believes he'll be ready to play after the Rams' upcoming bye. ... Browns RB Jamal Lewis, who missed virtually all of the last two games with an injured right foot, had 61 yards on 17 carries. ... Cleveland started 3-3 in both 2003 and 2004, but went 5-11 and 4-12.
Braylon Edwards is now an elite wide receiver in this league, and he put on a show today. Edwards is big, strong and fast and has outstanding body control. His ability to go up and get the ball at its highest point is uncanny. St. Louis' defense didn't have an answer for him, and it was very clear that QB Derek Anderson trusts Edwards to make big play after big play. He did just that in acrobatic fashion against the Rams and hauled in a pair of TDs. Add him to TE Kellen Winslow -- who also came up with big plays -- and the Browns' passing game was nearly indefensible. This twosome will cause problems for every defense it faces, particularly with Anderson seemingly getting better every week.
