Janikowski sets Raiders record with 57-yard FG to stun Jets in overtime
OAKLAND, Calif. -- In a season marred by the firing of coach Lane Kiffin and blown fourth-quarter leads, an untimely timeout that helped the New York Jets send the game into overtime appeared to be just the latest heartbreak for the Oakland Raiders.
• Sebastian Janikowski's 57-yard field goal breaks his own team record set earlier this year when he kicked a 56-yard FG against the Chiefs on Sept. 14, 2008.
• With 10 more points today, Janikowski has now accounted for 47 of the Raiders' 97 points scored (48.4 pct of team's scoring).
• Janikowski also set the record for the longest game-winning FG in OT history. The old record was 53 yards by Green Bay's Chris Jacke against San Francisco on Oct. 14, 1996.
