Williams, Stewart run over Bucs as Panthers seize control of NFC South
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- By running over, around and through one of the league's top defenses, the Carolina Panthers staked their claim as one of the NFL's top teams.
• NFC South teams are 10-0 at home this season when playing another NFC South team. The NFC South is also a combined 24-2-0 (.923) at home.
• DeAngelo Williams has scored a touchdown in seven straight games, the longest streak in Panthers history.
• Williams' two touchdowns give him the lead for most rushing touchdowns (13) in a season in Panthers history.
• Bucs quarterback Jeff Garcia had won five straight starts against the Panthers.

The Panthers' DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart became the first teammates in NFL history to rush for 100-plus yards, score two-plus TDs and average over 7.0 yards per carry in the same game.
Tampa Bay extended its streak of not scoring a first-quarter TD to six games. ... Stewart's two TDs gave him eight, breaking the Panthers' single-season record for rookies held by the late Fred Lane. ... Bucs DT Jovan Haye (knee) did not play, replaced by Ryan Sims in the starting lineup.
