GLENDALE, Ariz. -- That "kid" Kurt Warner got the best of old-timer Brett Favre on Sunday night.
Warner, a mere 38 to Favre's 40, threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns and the Arizona Cardinals' defense stifled Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in a stunningly one-sided 30-17 victory.Fast Facts
• The Cardinals avoided suffering their first back-to-back losses, and they've outscored opponents 130-76 following a loss this season (4-0).
• This is the Cardinals' first win vs. the Vikings since Dec. 29, 2003.
• Kurt Warner had a 2-yard TD pass to Anquan Boldin, which is his 18th TD pass in the red zone this season. First? Brett Favre.
• Larry Fitzgerald had 143 receiving yards and a touchdown. His 10 receiving TDs lead the NFL and he became the first player in franchise history to record three consecutive seasons with 10+ TDs.
