The Pro Football Hall of Fame has named its 25 semifinalists who will be considered for 2016 induction into Canton, and there is one former Bills player on the list: WR Terrell Owens.

There's a heavy Rams presence on list of 25 Pro Football Hall of Fame semi finalists, including four members of the Greatest Show on Turf: WR Isaac Bruce, WR Torry Holt, OT Orlando Pace and QB Kurt Warner. Pass rusher Kevin Greene also made the cut. Pace, Warner and Greene came up just short last year and are best positioned of Rams entries this year.

Favre leads list of Pro Football HOF semifinalists

First-year candidates Brett Favre, Terrell Owens and Alan Faneca are among 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The voting for the Class of 2016 will culminate on Feb. 6, the night before the Super Bowl. Full list

Former 49ers WR Terrell Owens and RB Roger Craig are among 25 semifinalists for Pro Football Hall of Fame consideration, the Hall announced Tuesday. Owens is a first-year candidate while this is the eighth time Craig is a semifinalist. Also, WR Isaac Bruce, who played two years for the Niners, and LB/DE Kevin Greene, who spent one year in San Francisco, were also named semifinalists. The semifinalists will be reduced to 15 Modern-Era finalists by mail ballot of the 46 selectors in January.
