Race for No. 1 in NFC

  • Rams lead Seahawks, 6-0
  • Packers lead Lions, 14-7
  • Cardinals lead 49ers, 17-13
If these scores hold, the Packers would be the No. 1 seed in the NFC, while the Cardinals would get the NFC's other bye.

Career half for Lindley

In the first eight games of his career, Ryan Lindley was 2-for-29 with no TDs and 4 INTs on balls thrown 20+ yards downfield. In the first half today, he was 4-for-5 with 2 TDs and O INTs.

More bad news for the Pack

Matt Flynn is in for the Packers with Aaron Rodgers sidelined with a calf injury. From 2012-14, Flynn has a Total QBR of just 19, the third lowest of any QB (min. 100 action plays).

This is the first time the Seahawks have been shut out in the first half with Russell Wilson at QB in the regular season. They trail the Rams 6-0 in the third.

Asked why Odell Beckham Jr. came out of the game late, Giants coach Tom Coughlin told reporters the rookie WR was "vomiting and so on and so forth" on the sideline. Beckham said he's "looking forward to next year with a smile."

The Panthers lead the Falcons 24-3 at halftime and are 30 minutes away from clinching back-to-back playoff trips for the first time in franchise history.

After Thomas Davis scooped up a Roddy White fumble to set up 1st-and-goal, Cam Newton plowed his way in for a short rushing TD, extending Carolina's lead over Atlanta to 24-3 late in the first half.
