![]() | Redskins at Falcons 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Redskins-Falcons matchup. 1. Washington needs to establish the run early: The Falcons are somewhat vulnerable to the run, giving up 122 yards at 4.5 yards per attempt on the ground. Pounding the football is the best way to right the ship on the road with a struggling offense. Look for more two-back, power-one blocking schemes between the tackles in this matchup. ![]() | Cardinals at Bears 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Cardinals-Bears matchup. 1. Attack the middle of Chicago's defense: This is especially true if Tommie Harris (knee) is unable to play. Arizona uses a lot of double-tight end sets and might choose to play heavy at Chicago and give Beanie Wells plenty of downhill touches. The Bears will be reluctant to bring a safety up to the line of scrimmage considering the Cardinals' weaponry. Also, Chicago has had a tough time limiting opposing running backs as pass-catchers, which could bode well for Tim Hightower. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
![]() | Ravens at Bengals 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Ravens-Bengals matchup. 1. Get the ball to Ray Rice, then do it again and again: Baltimore has been most effective when they feed the ball to their talented second year back. His low center of gravity, strength, instincts and toughness will put pressure on this much improved Cincinnati defense and could keep the ball away from Carson Palmer. ![]() | Texans at Colts 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Texans-Colts matchup. 1. Houston needs to manufacture a pass rush: The Colts squeaked by with a win over the visiting 49ers on Sunday in spite of Peyton Manning having a relatively poor game. He was sacked three times, more than the previous six games combined. When defenses manage to get to Manning and either sack him or harass him, he can struggle. ![]() | Dolphins at Patriots 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Dolphins-Patriots matchup. 1. Miami needs to utilize the Wildcat early and often: The Dolphins weren't as effective in their Week 8 victory and will need to get it going in Foxborough to have a chance to come away with a win. Miami is built to pound the football and New England was the first club to be exposed (2008) against the Wildcat, so it's likely to be a focal point for the Dolphins' offense. ![]() | Packers at Buccaneers 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Packers-Buccaneers matchup. 1. If you're the Packers, run, run and run some more: Green Bay should stick with a heavy dose of Ryan Grant in Tampa Bay. It will be very tempting to hit big plays against the Buccaneers' suspect secondary, but those could come off of play-action once the Packers' ground dominance is established. This obviously would help keep Aaron Rodgers from taking a ton of hits behind his weak offensive line. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
![]() | Chiefs at Jaguars 1:00 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Chiefs-Jaguars matchup. 1. Kansas City needs to run the ball effectively: The Chiefs need to establish some kind of ground game as the season winds down and this should be a good week to start. Jacksonville gave up a mind-boggling 228 yards with an average of 9.5 yards per carry to Chris Johnson and the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday. The problem is that Kansas City will be without mercurial RB Larry Johnson, who has been suspended. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
![]() | Lions at Seahawks 4:05 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Lions-Seahawks matchup. 1. Detroit QB Matthew Stafford: He did not play very well last week but that was somewhat expected after missing some time with his knee injury. He was extremely rusty in terms of his timing and the rhythm of the passing game, but more importantly he struggled to read the coverages. Look for them to spend some extra time with him this week in the film room. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
![]() | Panthers at Saints 4:05 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Panthers-Saints matchup. 1. Carolina needs to run the ball: It's hardly a secret that the Panthers have one of the strongest running back tandems in the NFL with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart sharing the load. Against what has been one of the stingiest run defenses in the NFL, the Arizona Cardinals, last Sunday, both backs averaged in excess of 5 yards per carry and Carolina put up 270 yards on the ground. New Orleans' defense is improved over last year but as was evidenced Monday night, when the Falcons' Michael Turner averaged 7.6 yards per carry while gaining 151 yards, the Saints can be run on. ![]() | Chargers at Giants 4:15 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Chargers-Giants matchup. 1. The San Diego running game: It has been much better the last few weeks even though it's not where they would eventually like it to be. Starting RB LaDainian Tomlinson is much healthier and they have been able to get their power "O" running attack going. Even though a symbol of the Chargers run game is their power "O" -- where they pull the guard and lead the fullback into the hole -- look for them to try to run wide this week against a Giants defense that lacks speed. ![]() | Titans at 49ers 4:15 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Titans-49ers matchup. 1. Tennessee must run the ball effectively: The Titans ran for 305 yards, with an average of 6.2 yards per carry, against Jacksonville in Week 8. They are not apt to find that kind of success against the 49ers, who are holding opponents to just 85 yards a game on the ground (second best in the league). Tennessee does not want this game to hinge on QB Vince Young's arm and his receivers. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
![]() | Cowboys at Eagles 8:20 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Cowboys-Eagles matchup. 1. Dallas needs balance offensively: With a full complement of healthy backs and Tony Romo playing well, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will have the option of attacking the Eagles' defense at all levels both on the ground and through the air. Look for Garrett to keep the Philadelphia defense guessing with a good fmixture of run and pass. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |

![]() | Steelers at Broncos 8:30 PM ET After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Steelers-Broncos matchup. 1. Could this be a "pass-heavy" game? Both of these offenses are capable of being physical with the run, but the defenses in this game could dictate a lot of multi-receiver sets with liberal passing. Pittsburgh's identity already revolves around the pass offense, while Denver would like to run the ball -- but that's not happening against the rock-solid Steeler run defense. With two really good defenses, do not be surprised if this is a wide-open offensive game with creative play calling. Complete advance scouting report | ![]() |
